Art in Nature Camp

Art in Nature Camp led by Jean Stark, Naomi Crews, and Julia Bollinger - June 24 to 28 (Ages 2.5-12)

Art in Nature Camp will help kids grow their art skills with opportunities to practice drawing, painting, and sculpting from nature. Campers will explore Andy Goldsworthy and other artists who are inspired by nature, and in turn create their own pieces inspired by these artists. Older campers will combine writing with art and all campers will share their ideas through documenting it with video, focusing on students sharing what they have observed, experienced, and are inspired to share with the world. Each group, Littles, Middles, and Elders, will engage in activities designed for their interests and abilities.

BMS early learning co-teacher, Naomie Crews, will be leading the Littles group (ages 2.5-5).  Guest artist Jean Stark will be with the Juniors group (ages 6-9). The Elders Group (ages 10-12) will be led by BMS camp veteran and substitute teacher, Julia Bollinger.

Blue Mountain School Summer Camps are $175 per week for the first child in a family and $158 for each additional child in a family. Camps are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. To register, complete and return the registration form.
